I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

It is my love of story that now shapes my work as a mental health professional.

My approach to healing is grounded in narrative, humanistic, and existential therapy, and shaped by a deep curiosity, compassion, and respect for the uniqueness of each person's story. I believe that our stories—no matter how painful or complex—deserve to be heard, held, and honoured.

I specialize in identity work, relational challenges, grief, questions of faith, and navigating the many layers of the human experience. I have a particular passion for people who are moving through life transitions, helping them reconnect with their sense of self and agency.

I see the healing process as a collaborative space. I’m not above you or ahead of you—I’m walking this road beside you, as a fellow traveller and a wounded healer.

As Ram Dass beautifully wrote, “We’re all just walking each other home.”

THERAPY TO HELP BUILD RESILIENCE

A Collaborative Approach to Healing

FOR THE DEEP FEELERS,
THE DIVINE SEEKERS,
& THE ETERNAL STORY KEEPERS.

Psychotherapy, at its core, is a clinical practice. Years are spent in graduate school studying assessment, interventions, and various competencies. That being said, healing is a human practice, and no amount of research papers can ever encompass the full breadth of a person’s life experience. While I choose to offer a deeper exploration of some of the modalities that I organically gravitate towards as a therapist below, I would encourage you not to get too stuck in the language or terminology of the various approaches. First and foremost, we are human, and in an ideal scenario, these clinical aspects will delicately weave themselves into the background of a more meaningful relationship—a relationship built upon connection, safety, and a willingness to trust the process as it begins to unfold.

Narrative therapy is a way of exploring the stories you hold about yourself and your life. Sometimes these stories are shaped by difficult experiences or old patterns that no longer fit who you are. Other times, these stories have simply been passed down over time, the same way we pass down photos and precious family heirlooms. In therapy, we take time to understand these stories with care and curiosity, creating space for new perspectives to emerge. It’s not about changing who you are, but about reconnecting with a version of yourself that feels more true, aligned, and whole.

Humanistic therapy is a compassionate, person-centered approach that focuses on your inherent capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. Rather than trying to fix or diagnose, it creates a space where you can be met as you are, without judgment. The pillar of humanistic therapy is to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences from a place of care and respect.

Existential therapy is an invitation to reflect on the deeper questions of life, such as meaning, identity, freedom, and change. It recognizes that feeling uncertain, lost, or overwhelmed is often a natural response to being human. In therapy, we take time to sit with these experiences together, not necessarily with the intent of uncovering the answers, but more so to explore the important questions. Through this process, we hope to gain a greater sense of clarity, purpose, and connection while cultivating a better understanding of what truly matters to you.
